Position Overview

Center Point Healthcare and Rehabilitation is in search of a dedicated and skilled Assistant Administrator to enhance our operational leadership. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless management of facility functions while prioritizing exceptional service delivery, care quality, and resident satisfaction.

The Assistant Administrator will support the Administrator in implementing effective systems that align with regulatory standards and meet the needs of our residents safely and efficiently.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related Clinical field
  • Preferred clinical background with relevant licensure
  • Up-to-date knowledge of healthcare trends and regulations
  • Adherence to ethical business practices within the organization
  • Proficiency in financial report analysis
  • Experience in long-term care settings is essential
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills along with proven leadership capabilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Report to the Administrator regarding all activities undertaken during their absence, in both verbal and written formats.
  • Manage emergencies related to the facility when the Administrator is unavailable.
  • Uphold facility policies and procedures in the Administrator's absence.
  • Address and mediate complaints from residents, families, and staff when the Administrator is not present.
  • Assist with regulatory inspections as assigned during the Administrator's absence.
  • Act as a representative of the facility to residents, families, and the public.
  • Execute all assigned duties efficiently, promptly, and professionally.
  • Adhere to infection control protocols.
  • Respect Residents' Rights at all times.
  • Ensure the safety of residents under supervision.
  • Follow all facility policies and procedures diligently.
  • Accept assigned responsibilities with a collaborative attitude.
  • Take accountability for all information in the employee handbook.
  • Engage in identifying, investigating, and addressing concerns noted in the facility's Quality Indicator report as assigned.
  • Participate in Quality Assurance tasks as designated.
  • Perform additional related duties as directed by the Administrator.
  • Maintain a professional appearance by coming to work in clean, appropriate attire.
  • Demonstrate reliability and punctuality by adhering to the work schedule.
  • Work collaboratively with residents, their representatives, facility staff, healthcare providers, and ancillary service teams.
