O'Connor Plumbing is a leading plumbing services provider in the DC-Metro area, committed to delivering high-quality and reliable solutions to our clients. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Office Administrator to support our operations and ensure smooth office functions.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Customer and Vendor Communication: Communicate with customers, vendors, and employees in a courteous and professional manner. Field questions regarding our services and direct calls to the appropriate department.
  • Mail Processing: Ensure that all incoming and outgoing mail is processed in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Vendor Coordination: Act as the main point of contact for vendors. Assist team members with their needs and manage vendor relationships.
  • Payroll Assistance: Assist with weekly payroll preparations, including data entry and verification.
  • Office Supply Management: Maintain office supply inventory and place orders as needed to ensure the smooth operation of office functions.
  • Administrative Support: Provide general office and administrative support to all departments, including scheduling, filing, and coordinating meetings.
  • Customer Service: Deliver friendly and professional service to both internal and external customers, contributing to a positive office environment. Answer the phone and green visitors.

 

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in an administrative or office support role.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to managing office functions.
  • Microsoft Office experience is required (outlook, word, excel, etc)
  • Strong written/verbal communication skills; English speaking required, Spanish is a huge plus
