About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Assistant to join our team at the Executive Director, Office of Acquisition and Logistics. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Executive Director and ensuring the smooth operation of our office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Executive Director, including scheduling appointments, preparing correspondence, and maintaining records.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, including booking flights, hotels, and rental cars, and preparing travel itineraries.
  • Manage the office budget, including preparing and submitting expense reports, and tracking and reconciling financial transactions.
  • Develop and implement administrative procedures to improve office efficiency and productivity.
  • Provide support for special projects and events, including planning and coordinating logistics, and preparing materials and presentations.
  • Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of administrative experience, preferably in a government or corporate setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups and individuals.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
