Job Purpose  
  
Are you looking for an opportunity to help a small business grow and expand your financial success? Does building a team and culture within a business intrigue you? At Stand Strong Fencing of Greater Winston Salem, we are looking for a sales consultant to partner with us to build and nurture strong networking relationships, sell fences to residential and commercial clients, and help develop the Stand Strong Fencing brand within the Greater Winston Salem market. The successful candidate will have a desire to learn and grow, be detail-oriented, organized, ambitious, have a positive attitude, enjoy working with people and passionate about Stand Strong Fencing.

Learn and adopt Stand Strong Fence structured sales process and complete required training, present and sell the features and benefits of Stand Strong Fence products, continually prospect for new customers through networking, referrals, and effective follow-up and set and maintain the required number of appointments to meet/exceed sales goals.  

As a Sales Consultant you are the voice of our company You will be outfitted with the latest technology that blows away the competition and ensures that our customers have an experience that they will rave about

Primary Responsibilities 
  
  • Confirm and qualify booked appointments, generate organic leads, provide consultative customer appointments, generate accurate estimates, professionally and comprehensively present proposals to property owner/representative. 
  • Develop expertise in product knowledge, technical knowledge, industry, and process knowledge in relevant product areas.  
  • Perform organic lead generation strategies and activities.  
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of marketplace, competitors, and industry trends in order to identify new business and marketing opportunities.  
  • Develop product reference documents and product materials for customers.  
  • Organizing, Planning, and Prioritizing sales calls and appointments.  
  • Create and maintain a product marketing plan for increasing sales and revenue.  
  • Work with install team leaders to understand, explain and analyze client requirements.  
  • Demonstrate products to consumers.  
  • Address potential client queries in a timely and professional manner.  
  • Perform basic record keeping and data entry to ensure proper tracking of sales and client needs/inquiries.  
  • Interacts with clients and co-workers in a pleasant and professional manner.  
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Sales – Previous sales experience preferred.

Experience and Education:  
  
  • College degree in related field or relevant experience is preferred.  
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Home service sales experience is a plus. 
  • Skilled in verbal and written communications.
  • Polished and professional in demeanor and possess a strong work ethic and integrity.
  • Goal oriented.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency with the internet.  
  • Teamwork.
  • Ability to work independently.  
  • Ability to treat others with respect and gain trust and respect from subordinates and supervisors.  
  • Exceedingly positive in his/her work attitude. 
  • Must have a valid driver’s license. 
  
  
Physical Requirements:  
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: 
 
  • Occasionally be out in the field knocking on doors and engaging with business and home owners. 
  • Stand; walk; sit; twist; use hands to handle; reach with hands and arms; push; pull; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk and hear. 
  • Work outside in elements and varying seasons.
  • Lift, move, and hold up to approximately 100 lbs. 
  • Must be able to drive a motor vehicle for extended time periods.
