Amarillo, United States Amarillo Angels Full time
Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSUMMARY:

We are looking for a strong leader, hardworking, self-starting Co-Executive Director to join our team to help take our organization’s growth and management to the next level.

We welcome strategic thinkers, visionaries, and someone who can inspire a team like no other.

A *Co-Executive Director is out in the community advocating for the growth of Amarillo Angels’ programs and building key partnerships. They are someone who considers strangers to be friends they haven’t met yet and who is both professional and passionate.

We need someone who can learn new things very quickly, who likes solving problems, and who can process information quickly and think for themselves. You have a high level of commitment and mission-orientation. You keep pushing until something gets done. We need a Co-Executive Director who will work collaboratively with the board of directors to implement a strategic plan and fulfill our mission to transform the way children, youth and families experience foster care.

The Co-Executive Director will be capable of building relationships with staff members, board members, volunteers and more, demonstrating values that drive an organizational culture of transparency, accountability, care, and results. You will provide strategic foresight and leadership in governance, programs, finance, and operations.

This organization has grown out of an urgency to change the statistics for children, youth and families experiencing foster care. We benefit from a national network of 20 Angels chapters around the country who are all-in to share energy, ideas, resources, and momentum.

As our national network has demonstrated, the right candidate can come from a variety of backgrounds - advocacy, sales, education, faith, small business, etc. Most important is your willingness to serve with excellence, ethics, and determination. Most of what we create locally is shared nationally, allowing good ideas to be amplified across the country.
