Commercial Sales Specialist

Company Overview: Eva-Last Americas is a leader in innovative composite building materials, delivering sustainable solutions for architectural and construction projects. Our products are designed to combine aesthetic appeal with durability, making them ideal for modern building environments.

Position Overview: The Commercial Sales Specialist will play a key role in driving sales of Eva-Last’s architectural products by generating and qualifying commercial sales leads, researching architectural firms, and providing basic take-offs. This position is critical in ensuring that our products are specified in architectural projects, particularly within the commercial sector. The ideal candidate will have experience working directly with architects and a strong understanding of the commercial sales cycle and construction processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation & Qualification: Utilize tools like Construct Connect to generate and qualify leads, focusing on commercial projects and architectural firms.
  • Technical Support & Documentation: Read and interpret architectural drawings to provide accurate take-offs and prepare budget and final pricing quotes for Eva-Last products.
  • Sales Process Management: Manage sales orders from initial contact through delivery, ensuring all client information is updated in the Monday CRM system.
  • Client Engagement & Communication: Conduct proactive outreach through calls and emails, meeting or exceeding KPI metrics. Provide technical support and handle inquiries related to Eva-Last products.
  • Proposal & Invoice Creation: Develop detailed proposals, invoices, and AIA Certificates as needed.
  • Market Research: Continuously research architectural firms and the commercial construction market to identify potential clients and projects.
  • Logistics & Sample Management: Track logistics, manage sample requests, and provide comprehensive follow-up and communication with clients.
  • CRM Maintenance: Ensure all communications and interactions are logged in the CRM system for accuracy and future reference.
  • Support Architectural Sales Team: Assist the Architectural Sales team by setting up meetings, planning architectural presentations, and coordinating efforts in key markets.
  • Commercial Sales Administrative Responsibilities: Handle administrative tasks related to the commercial sales process, including data entry, report generation, order processing, and coordination with other departments to ensure seamless sales operations and or as directed.
  • Meet and Exceed KPIs: Consistently meet and exceed all key performance indicators (KPIs) established for the role, contributing to overall team and company success.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Proven experience in a similar role, working directly with architects and engaging in the commercial sales cycle and commercial construction processes.
  • Proficiency in Drawings: Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings (bonus but not required).
  • Proficiency in Excel: Strong ability to use Excel for data analysis, pricing calculations, and tracking project progress.
  • Proactive & Resourceful: Demonstrated initiative in gathering information, reaching out to clients, and sharing innovative ideas for sales strategies.
  • Interest in Construction/Architecture: A genuine interest in the construction and architecture industries, with an understanding of the construction cycle.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, maintain accurate records, and meet deadlines.
