Position Overview: The Automotive Parts Sales Specialist role offers the chance to engage with numerous customers, assisting them in their pursuit of automotive parts. The primary objective is to cultivate an exceptional purchasing experience that fosters customer loyalty towards AutoNation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promptly greet and assist both technicians and retail customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Efficiently procure the correct parts and accessories for technicians and retail customers.
  • Accurately price parts and accessories utilizing the appropriate pricing sources and document the information in the relevant systems.
  • Respond to telephone inquiries promptly and courteously, striving to fulfill the caller's needs.
  • Organize and stock incoming inventory in designated locations.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly parts department.
  • Provide customers with essential information and suggest additional sales opportunities.
  • Design and uphold merchandising displays to enhance product visibility and sales.
  • Deliver an outstanding customer experience to drive loyalty.
Success Metrics:
  • Performance as a Parts Sales Specialist is evaluated based on:
  • Achievement of Parts Sales Targets.
  • Attainment of Customer Satisfaction Goals.
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in an automotive parts department.
  • At least one year of sales experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and follow-up abilities.
