Director, Corporate Workforce Partnerships

The Senior Director of Corporate Workforce Partnerships, is responsible for co-developing and executing a go-to-market strategy for ETS Solutions products and services within the employer and workforce ecosystem. This may be achieved through multiple approaches:

• Soliciting new potential clients based on their needs and ETS capabilities
• Manage a sales team and provide support where needed
• Initiating/managing strategic partnerships to grow Corporate Solutions funnel, generate warm leads, manage sales process, and close new client contracts
• Bundling - combining products thereby appealing to a broader market
• Add-ons - selling new products and services to existing clients
• Generating interest through focused marketing efforts and attending relevant conferences and other events
• Other duties as assigned

In all approaches the individual is responsible for seeking out opportunity, initiating and developing internal and external relationships, vetting leads based on opportunity size and opportunity cost, requesting organizational support, and maintaining external relationships.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create strong go-to-market approach while remaining flexible enough to pivot when necessary
• Identify, approach, and develop partnership opportunities with complementary organizations in a variety of markets/fields
• Manage existing client relationships to increase the probability of future sales and maintain ETS's positive perception in the education-to-workforce ecosystem
• Actively generate and pursue leads through various means (e.g., events, conferences, presentations, cold calling, account-based marketing, etc.)
• Identify market and customer needs and apply ETS products and services to address those needs
• Work cross-functionally with other divisions throughout ETS to provide product/market updates, inform research initiatives and deliver other salient information to drive revenue growth
• Work cross-functionally across ETS Solutions and other divisions throughout ETS to develop and deliver solutions to clients and partners.
• Understand ETS capabilities and how to propose opportunities for external organizations to leverage those capabilities for their own products (e.g., white labeling)
• Use influence to lead others at multiple levels of ETS and external organizations in execution on new sales opportunities
• Understand the market and stay up-to-date on current trends and project future trends
• Adhere to ethical standards and comply with the laws and regulations applicable to your job function

SKILLS

• Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to identify opportunities and the initiative to turn opportunities into revenue
• Excellent outreach, networking, consulting skills and ability with external organizations, markets, and product users to understand needs and propose solutions with other organizations
• Strong business development skills to lead collaborations, contract negotiation, and other outward facing activities
• Exceptional communication skills, verbal and written, and an ability to negotiate objectives, responsibilities, and outcomes with collaborators at more senior and more junior levels, both inside ETS and in external organizations
• Ability to prioritize opportunities based on factors such as probability of success, opportunity cost, revenue generation, impact on ETS's brand, etc.
• Experience and skills in presenting products and services to potential clients to quickly close contracts
• Strong business acumen and a motivation for successful execution
• Execution orientation; developing and pursuing the tactical plans necessary to fulfill multi-faceted long-term goals
• Strong leadership skills, especially in generating engagement and enthusiasm across multiple reporting lines, organizational structures and areas of expertise
• Excellent skills to lead through change and transformation, with an ability to adapt and pursue new priorities & opportunities in an ambiguous environment and gather organizational support

EDUCATION

• Master's degree or equivalent work experience; master's degree in education, marketing, business administration or another field related to the selling of products/services for educational or workforce environments strongly preferred.

EXPERIENCE

• At least 5 years of experience in forming partnerships and selling products/services
• At least 2 years of business/partnership development leadership experience
