Compliance Support Coordinator

The Compliance Support Coordinator is expected to provide the Compliance Manager and Vice President of Compliance with administrative and organizational support. The Compliance Support Coordinator is expected to complete tasks as assigned and perform additional duties as deemed appropriate by the Compliance Manager.
Required:
- College degree and/or two years of related healthcare experience.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Systems such Word, Excel and PowerPoint and the ability to learn other software systems.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to multi-task prioritize workload to meet deadlines, and pay meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to troubleshoot, problem solve and work as a team as well as independently.
- The desire and willingness to learn.
Desired:
- Experience in managed care or healthcare compliance.
- College degree.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytic skills, with experience in data collection and analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Acts as a compliance liaison to the organization to provide support and resources, as needed.
- Performs day-to-day administrative and support functions including, but not limited to, meeting minutes, scheduling of meetings including set-up of audio/visual aids (as needed), document preparation including agendas, memo distribution, training materials, annual documents, etc.
- Assist in the coordination of audits, including but not limited to communication with external auditors, scheduling, set-up, record keeping, documentation review, etc.
- Act as a system administrator and subject matter expect in the various compliance related software programs (OMT, PolicyStat, iContracts, Schoox, etc.)
- Assists with routine auditing and monitoring activities as needed to support department staff members.
