Requirements

Associate's Degree in Computer Science or other computer-related field and a minimum of one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Strong understanding of security best practices related to one of the following: Network Security, Operating System Security, and Data Security.

High level understanding of enterprise networks and systems.

Familiarity with security and technology frameworks (ITIL, NIST, CIS) a plus.

Information Security certifications are a plus (Microsoft, CompTIA, MITRE MAD20, ISC2).

Job Description

SUMMARY:

As the Security Compliance Analyst 1, you will be responsible for developing, documenting, and ensuring compliance with security policies, standards, and procedures by validating current procedures align with defined governance. You will help to drive compliance to defined Bank policies and procedures by conducting regular assessments to identify and mitigate security risk. You will also facilitate training and awareness programs, participate in incident response, and maintain comprehensive documentation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Updates security policies, standards, and procedures working closely with the policy and procedure management team.

Ensures information security policies, standards, and procedures align with industry best practices, regulatory requirements and internal standards

Evaluates bank controls for compliance to security policies, standards, and procedures by conducting regular audits and assessments.

Documents drift from company standards and works with technology owners to create a plan to remediate.

Supports information security policy compliance assessments and processes.

Develops and maintains repeatable, documented processes to identify and collect information security risk conditions, facilitate remediation, and monitor remediation.

Analyzes and reports on security findings to assist in driving audit and information security findings into remediation and closures

Stays updated on relevant information security laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Helps develop and deliver security training and awareness programs by promoting a culture of security awareness within the Bank.

Educates employees on security policies, standards, and best practices.

Participates in incident response activities and post-incident reviews.

Ensures lessons learned from incidents are incorporated into security policies and procedures.

Prepares and presents regular compliance reports to Bank leadership.

Continuously reviews and improves information security policies, procedures and standards.

Stays informed of emerging security threats and trends.

Recommends and implements improvements to continue to enhance the Bank's security posture.

Ability to handle other duties as assigned.

Banking is a highly regulated industry and you will be expected to acquire and maintain a proficiency in the Bank's policies and procedures, and adhere to all laws, rules and regulations that are applicable to your conduct and the work you will be performing. You will also be expected to complete all assigned compliance training in a timely manner.

Strong understanding of Information Security principles of Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability.

Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports and legal documents.

Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies or members of the business community.

Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format.

Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups and/or boards of directors

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.

Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.

Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.

Ability to deal with nonverbal symbolism (formulas, scientific equations, graphs, musical notes, etc.,) in its most difficult phases.

Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.
