Responsible for organizing field staff schedules, resolving scheduling issues, and coordinating dispatching delivery resources for health and personal care services in a timely and organized manner.


WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Refer to schedules for the HWR staff to dispatch care accordingly
  • Arrange or organize schedules for clients and or patients and availability of healthcare personnel that will attend to them (patients) for weekend and afterhours care.
  • Responsible for properly entering client and staff information into Suncoast and updating it on a regular basis.
  • Escalate changes made to support agents so referral sources and or providers can be updated on service delivery times.
  • Participate in activities or programs that help enhance the quality of service that is being rendered by the organization’s staff.
  • Ensure scheduling systems are properly maintained to reflect accuracy of the schedules
  • Show respect for patients/clients by maintaining confidentiality
  • Keep leadership updated as regards to conflicts in schedules

SUCCESS CAPABILITIES:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 2-4 years’ work experience in a health care capacity
  • Experience in a customer service role or healthcare management position would be an added advantage
  • Familiar with EMR programs and proficient navigating computer programs
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; good interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize and utilize time management skills
  • Ability to multi-task and ability to adapt quickly to change to comfortably “change gears at a moment’s notice”
  • Use independent judgment and discretion to maintain “whiteboard”, an overview of who still needs to be helped and removing those that have been dispatched (human inventory system for scheduling)
  • Must be highly organized so all appointments are met in agreed upon time expectations
  • Needs to have a keen eye for detail to avoid scheduling conflicts
  • Ability to work effectively as a member of a team
