JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for the comprehensive management and support of local and wide area network infrastructure, encompassing the deployment and maintenance of hardware, adherence to corporate standards for software and systems, data security, and network configurations. Executes the installation, configuration, and support of internal and external networks spanning multiple regions. Diagnoses and resolves network issues, monitors performance, and meticulously documents changes using established change management processes. Ensures network design aligns with failover, business continuity, and disaster recovery plans. Recommends upgrades, patches, and new applications and equipment, while overseeing system backups and data recovery. Addresses LAN/WAN communication problems, resolves support tickets, and provides after-hours support for emergencies. Willingness to travel as necessary to support other company locations.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Ensure compliance with all physical and logical network security requirements, following Company procedures, client standards, and governing agency regulations.
  • Monitor, resolve, and enhance connectivity to Microsoft 365 cloud infrastructure.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute email migrations from legacy Exchange and Google to Microsoft 365 cloud infrastructure.
  • Provide support, troubleshooting, and optimization for SonicWall firewalls.
  • Monitor all network-related activities and promptly resolve high-level alerts.
  • Install, configure, and administer changes for networking devices, including Firewalls, Switches, and Routers.
  • Offer expertise in designing network architecture, recommending infrastructure changes based on local and regional business requirements in adherence to standards.
  • Support network vulnerability penetration assessments and ensure timely remediation.
  • Maintain centralized log management for all networking devices.
  • Configure and test network connectivity with clients, including VPN and IPSEC tunnels.
  • Manage network devices to ensure security, maintain performance, and troubleshoot issues.
  • Document all changes to networking devices using the required change management process.
  • Support, administer, and monitor intrusion detection and prevention systems.
  • Document and maintain network diagrams to keep configuration changes current.
  • Implement new solutions and maintain the network infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with corporate and regional IT teams to support network administration requests.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, plus five years of related experience, or a combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of work experience across Windows Server operating systems, PC/Server LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi networks, and connectivity.
  • 3+ years of experience with SonicWall firewalls.
  • Prior experience working with Cyber Security tools and encryption methods.
  • Good knowledge of network protocols, including VLAN, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, and Exchange cloud infrastructure.
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Thorough understanding of system administration tasks, networking concepts, and configuration.
  • Ability to evaluate requirements to craft system network designs and new solutions.
  • Ability to plan and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision; self-motivated, self-disciplined, and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize tasks with strong attention to details and to work well under pressure in meeting tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Responsible for maintaining confidentiality.
  • High-level verbal and written communication skills.
