Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a dynamic and collaborative individual with a proven track record in leading both people and technology to provide functional and technical management of IT systems. This includes software and business solutions, as well as infrastructure. The ERP/Applications and Systems Manager will oversee all company IT systems, applications reporting, custom-developed business applications, server and network administration, data and application security, endpoint hardware, and external service providers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • ERP Management:

    • Oversee the management and maintenance of ERP systems, with a preference for experience in Microsoft Dynamics GP.
    • Ensure ERP systems are aligned with business processes and objectives.
    • Lead ERP-related projects, including upgrades, integrations, and optimizations.
  • IT Systems and Applications:

    • Provide functional and technical leadership for all IT systems, applications, and infrastructure.
    • Manage application reporting and other bolt-on or custom-developed business applications.
    • Administer and maintain servers, networks, and endpoint hardware to ensure reliability and security.
  • Team Leadership:

    • Lead a team of IT professionals responsible for the design, management, and development of IT business application solutions.
    • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
    • Conduct performance evaluations, provide mentorship, and support professional development.
  • Project Management:

    • Scope, design, and lead significant IT system and application maintenance or development projects.
    • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet business requirements.
    • Coordinate with cross-departmental teams to achieve project goals.
  • Vendor Management:

    • Leverage and manage external resources to maintain servers, networks, and other infrastructure resources.
    • Ensure external services are reliable, secure, and meet business needs.
    • Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships.
  • Security and Compliance:

    • Oversee data, network, and application security to protect company assets.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
    • Implement and maintain security policies and procedures.
  • Communication and Collaboration:

    • Maintain excellent verbal and written communication with stakeholders at all levels.
    • Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration to accomplish business goals.
    • Provide regular updates and reports on IT operations and projects.
Qualifications:
  • Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
    • Minimum of 5+ years of IT leadership and application management experience in a manufacturing environment.
    • Working knowledge of ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics GP a plus)
