The Account Executive at DataHouse is responsible for sales and business development, focusing on maintaining and growing existing accounts and developing new accounts within their assigned business domain and geographic markets. This role requires a deep understanding of the accounts, strategic planning for account growth, and successful execution to meet or exceed financial and customer satisfaction targets. The Account Executive will engage with customers and prospects to assess their needs, develop proposals, and manage the proposal/bid process through to deal closure. During project delivery, they will collaborate with DataHouse's project delivery teams to address issues, enhance customer satisfaction, and ensure account growth.


*This position is based at our beautiful headquarters in Honolulu, Hawaii.

*Travel might be expected to the client and partner offices.


Primary Responsibilities and Duties

  • 1. Account Executive (75%)

• Create and keep up-to-date account plans for each account

• Prepare BPW and Deal Review materials including

o Contribute to bid go/no-go o Recommend margin

o Recommend pricing

o Recommend technology

o Recommend pursuit approach/win themes

o Prepare and present Deal Review Overview

• Update and maintain account tracker (opportunities, win probability, next steps) (weekly)

• Prepare for and lead monthly and quarterly account reviews

• Prepare for and lead account to delivery handover meetings and complete all required account tasks (contractual, financial, programmatic)

• Meet with accounts regularly to ensure targets are met

• Contribute to proposal preparation Contribute to marketing material creation


  • 2. Sales Enablement Strategy (25%)

• Develop tools, processes, and methods to increase productivity of DataHouse's sales team

• Increase coordination between sales team and finance, marketing, proposal response teams

• Improve transition from sales "win" to project "build/deliver" teams


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in business development, government relations, project management, PMO, or account management in the IT consulting industry
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Strong understanding of IT solutions and services, including digital transformation, application services, and managed services
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to travel frequently to meet with clients and partners
  • Strong strategic thinking and planning skills
  • Experience with CRM software and sales tracking tools
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • PMP certification preferred
