DIRECTOR OF SALES

As the Director of our Large Market Sales team, you'll be at the heart of our mission to drive bold growth and set new benchmarks for success. WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Participate in hiring of BDMs by actively interviewing and round-tabling with other interviewers to select the highest quality candidates.
  • Work to evolve sales processes and sales strategies across large market sales.
  • Develop programs and initiatives to train and enable both existing and new BDMs.
  • Develop quantitative and qualitative reporting to identify strengths and weaknesses of every BDM. Assist Sales Managers in coaching and developing all BDM's.
  • Work closely with Sales Managers and other sales leaders to ensure consistent communication of activity and expectations of BDMs. Participate with Sales leadership in driving these activity metrics.
  • Manage existing and new BDM's actively to meet or exceed expectations in sales production on a month-to-month basis. Effectively coach as necessary, and work with sales leadership to diagnose performance issues and cull when necessary.
  • Work closely with sales leadership, the implementation team, and the service team to increase the quality of new business, measured by days to first payroll and sold deals that do not make it to first payroll.
  • Responsible for the following key metrics: Dollars sold, Breadth of Participation, Sales Staffing, First Meetings Set, and Deals that Do Not Materialize.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TEAM

  • 5+ years experience in people management within a Sales team
  • Based in Hawaii, or open to relocation
  • Strong experience working across an organization to ensure holistic success.
  • Experience working in sales, sales support, or account management so as to understand and relate to consultative sales professionals.
  • The desire and ability to consult and teach. Proven to grow and develop others in a positive way.
  • An understanding of sales metrics and sales content. Comfortable doing projects that require visual as well as numerical mastery.
  • B2B sales experience of large accounts required, with a proven track record of success.
  • Industry experience in PEO, HCM (Human Capital Management), Human Resources, payroll, or employer insurances preferred.

The base compensation for this position is $160,000 to $190,000 annualized depending on experience and qualifications. This role is eligible for an additional compensation incentive in the form of performance based commissions/bonuses.
