YOUR DAY AS A PROGRAM COORDINATION SPECIALIST

As a Program Coordination Specialist at Volunteer Behavioral Health, you will have the opportunity to take on a variety of exemplary duties and responsibilities. One of these key responsibilities includes the development and implementation of the RIP Program, which utilizes four treatment modalities. The RIP Program is designed to support young children and their families who are facing challenging behaviors. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall operation of the RIP Program, ensuring its success and effectiveness. This will involve conducting training sessions, engaging in administrative activities, evaluating the program's progress, and continually developing it to meet the evolving needs of our clients. As the Program Coordination Specialist, you will assume various roles within the program, including case manager, liaison service provider, childcare school intervention provider, marketing staff, resource consultant, and program aide as needed. You will have the opportunity to directly impact the lives of clients by providing them with the necessary support and resources to thrive. Additionally, part of your responsibilities will involve submitting monthly data reports to the State Technical Assistant (TA), as well as semi-annual and annual reports to TDMHSAS and TA. Intake interviews with potential clients, community information, and marketing activities will also be part of your daily tasks. To ensure the smooth running of the RIP Program, you will coordinate with staff members and work closely with the State TA. A crucial aspect of your role will be supervising the RIP Aide (Classroom Coordinator), Parent Case Manager, and Resource Consultant, providing guidance and support to ensure the program's success. REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in special education, psychology, elementary education, early childhood education, social work, or another related field
  • 1+ years of experience in a related field
