Job Overview

In this classroom coordinator role, you will earn a competitive rate of $14 per hour. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF A LEARNING SUPPORT SPECIALIST

This part-time position requires availability on Mondays and Wednesdays, from 11:30 am to 8 pm.

As a Learning Support Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Facilitating learning using the RIP Parent Classroom Training manual.
  • Providing constructive feedback on assignments.
  • Modeling effective RIP techniques.
  • Conducting monthly meetings with trained parents.
  • Preparing program documentation and maintaining classroom supplies.
  • Collecting feedback for training improvements.
  • Supporting parents in learning and demonstrating appropriate behaviors.

Your contributions will be vital in fostering the success of our program and enhancing essential skills among parents.


QUALIFICATIONS FOR OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Preferred experience working with young children with behavioral challenges and their families.
  • Previous training in the RIP model is a plus.
