Summary

We are looking for a Senior Human Resources Generalist to join our Human Resources team in Nashville, TN. The Senior Human Resources Generalist will report directly to the VP of HR and will be responsible for being a strategic partner and leader who drives innovations, efficiencies and compliance.

Job Responsibilities

  • Address employee complaints and resolve conflicts
  • Investigate employee relations concerns and workplace accidents
  • Advise managers regarding employee performance
  • Assist managers to develop and implement performance improvement plans
  • Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback to improve retention strategies
  • Identify training needs and develop training programs to maintain legal compliance
  • Develop and update HR policies and procedures based on strategy determined by HR leader
  • Manage HR inbox and provide support to employees throughout the organization
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy within ADP and other HR systems
  • Manage documentation of employee personnel files with ADP
  • Process employee changes in partnership with payroll and benefits team members
  • Execute HR improvements as assigned by HR leader
  • Manage the maintenance of ADP
  • Manage employee onboarding process including onboarding paperwork and new hire orientation
  • Process employee resignations and terminations through offboarding process
  • Other duties as assigned

Experience & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of progressive human resources experience is preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field is preferred
  • PHR or SHRM certifications are a plus
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now or similar HRIS
  • Solid understanding of local, state (Tennessee, California, Wisconsin, etc.) and federal employment laws
