Role Summary

We are seeking a Senior Human Resources Generalist to become an integral part of our HR department. This role will report directly to the VP of HR and is designed for a strategic partner who will lead initiatives that promote innovation, efficiency, and compliance within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Address and resolve employee grievances and conflicts
  • Conduct investigations into employee relations issues and workplace incidents
  • Provide guidance to management on employee performance matters
  • Assist in the development and implementation of performance enhancement strategies
  • Facilitate exit interviews and analyze insights to enhance retention efforts
  • Identify training requirements and create programs to ensure legal compliance
  • Develop and revise HR policies and procedures in alignment with organizational strategy
  • Manage HR communications and support employees across the organization
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data within HR systems
  • Oversee the documentation of employee records
  • Collaborate with payroll and benefits teams to process employee changes
  • Implement HR improvements as directed by HR leadership
  • Oversee the maintenance of HR systems
  • Manage the onboarding process, including necessary paperwork and orientation for new hires
  • Handle offboarding processes for resignations and terminations
  • Perform additional duties as required

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in human resources is preferred
  • A bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field is preferred
  • Certifications such as PHR or SHRM are advantageous
  • Experience with HRIS platforms, particularly ADP Workforce Now, is desirable
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws at local, state, and federal levels
