ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Provide comprehensive HR support across all functions
  • Assist in addressing employee relations matters as needed
  • Monitor employee eligibility for benefits programs
  • Facilitate benefits discussions with employees, processing enrollments, cancellations, and modifications
  • Oversee open enrollment and the benefits selection process, ensuring billing accuracy and timely payments
  • Support performance management initiatives
  • Handle HR administrative responsibilities as required
  • Assist in the development and clarification of policies and procedures
  • Conduct monthly reconciliations of insurance invoices
  • Administer COBRA for group health plans
  • Coordinate and lead monthly Safety Committee Meetings
  • Maintain records for personal, medical, and FMLA leaves
  • Manage the Workers Compensation process, including claims and treatment
  • Distribute annual OSHA logs
  • Conduct monthly Welcome Aboard and Exit Interview surveys
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related discipline
  • SHRM Certified Professional designation preferred, but not mandatory
  • Three to five years of experience as an HR Generalist

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Regularly required to sit, stand, and walk
  • Frequently required to communicate verbally
  • Regularly required to use hands for various tasks
  • Occasionally required to perform physical activities such as climbing or balancing
  • Occasionally lift and/or move items weighing up to 25 pounds
  • Vision abilities include close, distance, and peripheral vision
  • Work environment typically maintains a moderate noise level
  • Temperature in the workplace is generally moderate

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: This position may require occasional travel.
