Opportunity

We’re expanding and are looking for an Account Executive to join our Team. You will work closely with our VP of Sales on the front line to help grow our business.


What You'll Do

The Account Executive will be focused on generating revenue principally from new software accounts. You will be responsible for taking accounts through prospecting, discovery, qualification, proposal, and contracting in partnership with the VP of Sales. The role is quota-carrying and will report to the VP of Sales.


Responsibilities

  • Build and develop strong relationships throughout the U.S. in the financial services industry, truly understanding our prospective clients' pain points and offering solutions
  • Identify appropriate prospects, set appointments, make effective qualifying sales calls, and manage the sales cycle to close new business opportunities
  • Meet and exceed sales quotas following onboarding period
  • Creative approach to completing tasks
  • Assist the VP of Sales with marketing campaigns and other sales operations duties (contract administration, vendor due diligence activities, scheduling, market research)
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of our products and services and relay objection handling
  • Attend conferences and events to help create opportunities
  • Building and maintaining strong inderdepartmental relationships to ensure constant and clear communication and teamwork through all steps of the sales process
  • Being highly focused, flexible and ambitions every single day
Requirements:

Required Skills, Qualifications and Experience

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in marketing, business, or a related field
  • 2 + years' experience in sales and relationship building, preferably in the financial services industry. Financial services compliance or related experience is a strong plus
  • Experience working with software (preferably cloud based SaaS)
  • Experience working with Salesforce
  • Strong sales ability, business acumen, and commercial awareness - evidenced by quantifiable results in sales, from lead generation through deal closing
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem solving and customer service skills
  • Strong time management, attention to detail, and organizational skills
  • Strong entrepreneurial mindset and desire for success
  • Occasional travel may be required
  • If in the Knoxville area, occasional coming into office
