The Marketing Manager is a key associate at Hope Network whose primary responsibilities include:

Leading all marketing projects through the established process, supporting Hope Network programs and initiatives. Collaborates with the Director of Marketing and Marketing team to manage the development and implementation of promotional strategies and campaigns. This position also co-manages external marketing resources (freelancers, agencies, printers, video production companies, other vendors, etc) to support community, corporate, and individual engagement programs that are intended to solidify Hope Network's marketing and fundraising strategy throughout the state. This position serves as the conduit between the Marketing Team and other branches of the organization, proactively ensuring efficient communication and execution of tactical priorities. The Marketing Manager also manages the day to day needs, issues, and opportunities related the external Hope Network website.

Working across all service lines as the gatekeeper for any incoming requests, this position will manage the process from request to completion through the Hope Network Marketing team, or any external resource that this position will directly manage.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Manage marketing activity including but not limited to publications and mailings, audiovisual and multi-media presentations, video production, advertising/promotions, events/exhibits, signage, websites, and social media strategies.
  2. Serve as the main point of contact for all Marketing team project requests throughout the organization, from initiation to conclusion.
  3. Work closely with leaders from various service lines to proactively determine gaps and opportunities in marketing strategy.
  4. Keep colleagues in Marketing on track to shepard projects through the creative process and track the progress of projects against plans.
  5. Collaborate with Marketing team to develop campaign concepts and other branding strategies.
  6. Collaborate with Designer, Multimedia Specialist, and Communications Specialist on scheduling and building content calendars for social media channels and service line marketing plans.
  7. Collaborate with Multimedia Specialist as producer for various video productions with outside vendors, ensuring talent, locations, and scheduling logistics for seamless and cost-effective production.
  8. Facilitate communications between Hope Network external public relations vendors and internal leaders, helping bring newsworthy stories to light and through the pitch and production process.
  9. Assist with continuous improvement efforts for website content and facilitate and manage all changes to multiple website properties.
  10. Collaborate with IT, Marketing and other departments acreoss the organization, as well as external vendors and customers.
  11. Identify traffic trends across the site and identify opportunities for improvement.
  12. Monitor and report on customer journey and site experience, providing recommendations for improvements.
  13. Constantly evaluate industry innovation and best practices and recommend future enhancements.
  14. Regular and predictable attendance is an essential requirement of this position.
  15. All other responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Marketing.

Position Qualifications:

  1. Bachelors degree, preferred.
  2. 5+ years experience in event direction and project management.
  3. 3+ years experience supervising a team.
  4. Experienced and successful working under multiple deadlines.
  5. Proven track record in hiring, negotiating, and leading outside vendors.
  6. Exceptional at building relationships with others.
  7. Creative thinker and problem-solver.
  8. Skilled in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  9. Understanding of print production process as related to collaborating with outside vendors for the production of marketing materials.
  10. Understanding of video production process as related to collaborating with outside vendors on various video production projects.
  11. Understanding of website production process as related to collaborating with internal marketing team and outside vendors on various website projects. Additional experience in the areas of marketing, copywriting, or creative design is preferred.
