Certified Medication Technician (CMT) $3,000 Sign on Bonus

The Lutheran Home is accepting applications for our Dayshift Certified Med Tech position.  The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with older adults, good communication skills and thoughtful record keeping. This position offers an exciting opportunity for you to make a difference in long-term care and work with a dynamic healthcare team.

Our work environment includes:

  • General Long-Term Care
  • Memory Care
  • Rehab-to-Home
  • Hospice Care
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
  • Administer prescribed medications to residents and maintain related medical records under supervision of a nurse.
  • Take vital signs or observes patient to detect response to specified types of medications and prepares report or notifies designated personnel of unexpected reaction.
  • Assist residents with ADL care as needed.
  • Answer call lights and take appropriate action.
  • Complete documentation accurately, timely, and following facility policies and procedures.
  • Review resident care plans and performs care as outlined.
License/Certification: 
  • Current Missouri CMT certification
  • Current Missouri CNA certification
Job Type: Full-time
Day shift: 6:45am - 7:15pm.
Expected hours: Set 2-week schedule working 7 out of 14 calendar days and every other weekend off.
