The Lutheran Home is looking for a Certified Med Tech for our day shift nursing services team. In this role you are an essential team member providing medication administration and care for our residents. You will work alongside other nursing services team member including RNs, LPNs and CNAs ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents. 

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Administers prescribed medications to residents and maintain related medical records under supervision of a nurse.
  • Takes vital signs or observes patient to detect response to specified types of medications and prepares report or notifies designated personnel of unexpected reaction.
  • Assist residents with ADL care as needed.
  • Answer call lights and take appropriate action.
  • Completes documentation accurately, timely, and following facility policies and procedures.
  • Reviews resident’s care plans and performs nursing care as outlined.
In this position you will enjoy a set 2-week schedule with every other weekend off, working 7 out of 14 calendar days.  The hours are generally 6:45am -7:15pm. As a full-time team member, you will enjoy our many benefits including:
