Position Overview:
In this role, you will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide personalized care to patients, helping them achieve optimal wellness. You will collaborate with a team, understanding the significance of collective goals, and perform essential clinical and non-clinical tasks that contribute to patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in delivering individualized patient care as directed by nursing staff.
- Engage in teamwork and communication to support group objectives.
- Execute clinical procedures and provide necessary non-clinical support to enhance patient experience.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. with enrollment in a recognized nursing program. Candidates must provide transcripts confirming completion of Fundamentals of Nursing and a competency skills list from their educational institution.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within one month of hire.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds regularly, with prolonged standing and walking during shifts.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in emergency medical services, as a paramedic, or in previous patient care roles.
- Certifications such as Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Certified Patient Care Technician (CPCT), or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) are advantageous.
