Position Overview:

In this role, you will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide personalized care aimed at helping patients achieve their optimal level of health. You will collaborate effectively with team members, acknowledging the significance of collective objectives. Your responsibilities will include performing essential clinical tasks and non-clinical support activities necessary for patient care.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. required, along with enrollment in a board-certified nursing program. Candidates must submit transcripts showing completion of Fundamentals of Nursing from an accredited institution and a competency skills list. Maintaining good standing with the nursing program is essential for this position.
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within one month of hire.
  • Physical Requirements: The position necessitates the ability to regularly push, pull, or lift up to 50 pounds, as well as prolonged standing and walking during shifts. Candidates should be capable of gripping, reaching, bending, kneeling, twisting, and squatting to fulfill job duties.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Paramedic, or in a patient care role is advantageous.
  • Preferred certifications include Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Certified Patient Care Technician (CPCT), Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), or Advanced Unlicensed Assistant (AUA) in the State of Arkansas.
