Role and Responsibilities

The duties and responsibilities for the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Serve as a point of contact for employees and managers regarding HR-related inquiries and issues.
  • Oversee employee relations, including investigating and resolving employee issues and conflicts.
  • Manage performance management processes, including performance reviews.
  • Develop and deliver training and development programs for managers and employees.
  • Take the lead on HR projects and initiatives as assigned.
  • Collaborate with managers to provide guidance on employee relations matters.
  • Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, change of responsibilities, disciplinary matters, disputes and investigations, performance reviews, and training and development.
  • Monitor and analyze employee relations trends to identify areas for improvement.
  • Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, and employment law.
  • Manage human resources information system documents and compile reports from the HRIS system.
  • Work as a team member with our HR team.
  • Participate in HR projects and initiatives as assigned.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Company from time to time.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Successful candidate must possess a minimum of five years’ of experience in human resource functions.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education/human resources experience.
  • Ability to work on a team.
  • Strong knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with HRIS and talent management systems.

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of ADP Workforce Now a plus.
  • SHRM or PHR certification is preferred.
