Position Overview:

Join Vertex Service Partners as the Sr. Manager, Human Resources We are seeking an enthusiastic leader to support our partner companies through leading an HR Generalist team. The outcomes of this team are highly operational, our partners should receive best class service in onboarding/offboard employees, benefits and payroll administration, employee relations support, and performance management execution. The ideal candidate is an HR generalist/business partner with a focus on meeting business goals while providing excellent support to our employees. They should have a data mindset with a focus on how to ensure data accuracy and tell a story with data. This leader must be able to support the design of new processes while also nailing tactical responsibilities. We are a fast paced, fun team Must be able to build strong relationships, communicate effectively, and roll up your sleeves

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manages the execution of HR initiatives and HR operational support across our partner companies
  • Highly involved in the execution of partner integration into our HR systems and processes upon acquisition (high volume M&A)
  • Builds the HR Generalist team and strategy to effectively execute at the regional level
  • Ensures data accuracy of people data within ADP, responsible for the collection and correction of data
  • Designs and delivers an effective employee onboarding and offboarding experience
  • Supports and trains partners in the running of weekly payroll
  • Executes Open Enrollment with assistance from the HR Shared Service Center
  • Acts as a resource to employees for basic benefits and payroll related needs
  • Supports both employees and leaders during employee relations issues
  • Executes engagement surveys and strategies for collection and delivering results
  • Supports leaders through performance improvement processes and separation
  • Develops and drives regular performance reviews through processes and tools
  • Advises leaders on compliance and regulatory requirements
  • Oversees office management tasks for the Vertex Shared Service Offices
  • Supports logistics for office events and team summits
  • Heavily partners with the Director, Total Rewards and People Ops on the execution of items related to benefits, payroll, HRIS, polices and M&A integrations

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Certification in Human Resources (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR)
  • 8+ years of HR generalist experience covering the various areas in the job description
  • Experience project managing M&A integrations
  • In-depth understanding of employment laws
  • Exceptional communication ability and relationship building skills
  • Detail orientated with strong data and process capabilities
