Job Overview:

  • Oversee various HR operations to align with strategic goals
  • Engage effectively with Senior Leadership and support various departments
  • Manage employee relations, collective agreements, and promote HR initiatives

Key Duties:

  • Responsible for HR data management and processing
  • Create onboarding resources for new employees
  • Facilitate follow-up meetings with new hires
  • Assist in organizing onsite recruitment events and manage onboarding processes
  • Gather information on diversity and inclusion initiatives and foster future leadership
  • Oversee I9 compliance and special projects
  • Willingness to travel up to 30%

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related discipline is required
  • PHR or SPHR certification is highly desirable
  • A minimum of five years of HR generalist experience is essential
  • Hands-on HR experience in a large organization is required
  • Strong understanding of employment legislation and HR programs
  • Proven ability in problem-solving and addressing inquiries or concerns
  • Excellent presentation skills are necessary
