Position Overview:

Role Summary:

  • Oversee various human resources functions to align with strategic goals
  • Collaborate effectively with senior leadership and various departments
  • Manage employee relations, union contracts, and HR initiatives

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary custodian of HR data management and processing
  • Create onboarding resources for new employees
  • Facilitate follow-up sessions for new hires
  • Assist in organizing onsite recruitment events and manage onboarding procedures

  • Oversee I9 compliance and special HR projects
  • Willingness to travel as needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related discipline is essential
  • PHR or SPHR certification is highly desirable
  • A minimum of five years of experience in a generalist HR role is required
  • Hands-on HR experience in a large corporate setting is necessary
  • Comprehensive understanding of employment legislation and HR practices
  • Proven problem-solving skills and ability to address inquiries or concerns
  • Strong presentation abilities are required
