If you are interested in the Technical Publications Specialist position you will:
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Create/Update/Edit Adobe InDesign files for GDRV Owner's Manuals.
- Create/Update/Edit Adobe InDesign files for supplemental instruction documents.
- Present complex information in clear, logical, and concise written English for best reader comprehensions.
- Ensure the accuracy of product and component information through research and collaboration with subject matter experts.
- Applied knowledge of layout, design, typography, and preparing art for press.
Education & Experience
- Must be highly proficient in Adobe CC, InDesign. (Acrobat, Photoshop, and Illustrator are a plus).
- Minimum 3 years experience in Layout Design position or related work.
- Special consideration given to candidates fluent in written French-Canadian.
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in English, Technical Writing, or related field is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication including strong grammatical skills.
- Highly organized and detail oriented.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and/or RV experience is a plus.
- Ability to efficiently prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work both independently and with team members.
