Job Summary

ARBOC is seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team. As an Electrical Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support for the electrical systems of our vehicles. This includes troubleshooting and repairing electrical issues, as well as assisting in the development and implementation of new electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret electrical symbols, schematics, and wiring diagrams
  • Use trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills to resolve electrical issues
  • Communicate with stakeholders to refine customer requirements
  • Assist in wiring and troubleshooting prototype and first article product releases
  • Develop and maintain electrical CAD drawings in Zuken and/or Solid Works Electrical
  • Assist in the creation of Bill of Materials (BOM) for the electrical elements of the vehicle build
  • Investigate and implement cost reductions
  • Develop product assembly and configuration documentation
  • Train manufacturing personnel in electrical assembly
  • Review and implement engineering change notifications
  • Assist with vehicle builds on the assembly floor
  • Document electrical issues concerning builds, drawings, components, etc. and report details back to Electrical Engineering

Requirements:

  • 2-year Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Two years of practical electrical technology experience
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, including Word and Excel
  • AutoCAD, Solid Works, Solid Works Electrical, and Zuken
  • Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Previous experience with 5S and lean manufacturing a plus
