Job Description and Responsibilities:

GMH is seeking a professional Systems Specialist that can maintain, troubleshoot, and execute systems operation support for our on-site properties. In addition, this role involves developing and delivering systems training programs to enhance the skills and performance of our employees. The Systems Specialist will report to the Director of Systems and Integration and act as a liaison between the properties and the Director. This is a remote position and can be based anywhere in the USA.

  • Manage support ticket workflow
  • Respond to all inquiries within a timely manner
  • Provide help desk support to resolve user issues and requests
  • Consolidate information and report on any user support issues and trends
  • Investigate system for data problems and take corrective action
  • Report and escalate any ticketing issues from the site level
  • Oversee Systems training:
    • Conduct systems training needs analysis to identify skill gaps and identify training requirements
    • Supplement and help develop system trainings in coordination with Director of Systems and Director of Training roles
    • Oversee systems training sessions for employees at all levels
    • Continuously improve systems training program based on feedback and performance metrics
    • Assist with creation, execution, streamlining, and documenting of corresponding Systems SOP’s
  • Provide assistance with System Administration Projects with examples including:
    • Annual Lease Terms
    • Lease Documents/Packets
    • Update Budgeted Rent
  • Various Systems Administration Responsibilities including but not limited to:
    • Assist with new product implementations
    • Oversee various property management software systems (i.e. Entrata, Yardi, Zendesk)
    • Manage new user set-up and terminated user deactivations, within Entrata and other applications
    • Review and respond to details surrounding new releases, setting changes, and systems issues within Entrata and other software platforms

Expectations of Remote Office Job:

  • Must work from desktop
  • Online approx. 9am-6pm
  • When traveling it must be approved to work at a different location than the home office due to internet, time zone, and responsibilities

Characteristics and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 25% travel, required
    • More travel required during the turn season
  • 2-3 years’ experience in student/multi-family housing
  • Prior in-depth experience with Entrata
  • Strong internet and Microsoft Office skills, Word experience required
  • Previous Remote Desktop Position experience preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Problem solver
  • Strong analytical skills
