Role Summary:

The Asset Inventory Specialist will engage with various departments to oversee the management of incoming and outgoing aftermarket repairable aircraft components and inventory designated for exchange or lease, as well as aftermarket support equipment available for sale.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the management of lease and exchange component inventory pools in accordance with established procedures.

• Collaborate with fulfillment teams to ensure the timely processing of outgoing orders.

• Manage the tracking, storage, and associated processes for incoming exchanged or repairable items.

• Develop and manage the Ground Support Equipment (GSE) and Tooling catalog for items available for sale.

• Supervise in-house inventory awaiting sale, including warehouse storage, modification levels, and calibration.

• Ensure quality control of shipments and the documentation accompanying each sold, leased, or exchanged asset.

• Plan for future asset requirements based on demand forecasts.

• Monitor inventory levels against volume metrics and provide recommendations to optimize utilization.

• Ensure that return shipments and invoices for customer-owned property are processed according to contractual obligations.

• Maintain and distribute metrics to assess asset pool efficiency.

• Participate in customer and supplier meetings as necessary.

• Assist with additional tasks and projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree accompanied by three years of experience in warehouse management or related processes in shipping, receiving, storage, and retrieval within a distribution center. Alternatively, candidates with a high school diploma and seven years of relevant experience will be considered.

• A self-motivated and organized individual.

• Experience in a component repair or exchange environment is preferred.

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, regulated environment with minimal supervision.

• Familiarity with export and import regulations and procedures.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint and Outlook; recent experience with SAP is a plus.
