Role Summary:
The Asset Inventory Specialist will play a crucial role in managing the flow of aftermarket repairable aircraft components and inventory, ensuring efficient operations for exchanges or leases, as well as aftermarket support equipment sales.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the management of lease and exchange component inventory pools, ensuring compliance with established procedures.
• Collaborate with fulfillment teams to facilitate the processing of outgoing orders.
• Manage the tracking, storage, and associated processes for incoming exchanged or repairable items.
• Develop and maintain a catalogue for Ground Support Equipment (GSE) and tooling available for sale, while managing in-house inventory awaiting sale.
• Ensure quality control and proper documentation for all sold, leased, or exchanged assets.
• Plan and forecast future asset requirements based on operational needs.
• Monitor inventory levels against demand, providing recommendations to optimize utilization.
• Process return shipments and invoices for customer-owned property in accordance with contractual agreements.
• Maintain and distribute performance metrics to assess asset pool efficiency.
• Participate in customer and supplier meetings as necessary.
• Assist with additional tasks and projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse management or related processes in a distribution center. Alternatively, a high school diploma with 7 years of relevant experience may be considered.
• Self-motivated and organized individual with strong initiative.
• Experience in a component repair or exchange environment is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced, regulated environment with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with export and import regulations and procedures.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint and Outlook; experience with SAP is a plus.
