Are you ready to dive into the heart of financial transactions? We are seeking a dynamic Payment Operations Specialist to join Mascoma Bank. This role offers a unique opportunity to play a crucial part in ensuring seamless and secure financial operations for our diverse clientele. In this role you will perform all aspects of the ACH function, including customer service, technical support, ACH fraud and assistance to internal & external customers. Your primary responsibilities will include a focus on transaction control, reconciliation and reporting.

The successful candidate for this position should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in banking, focusing on wire transfer and ACH processing. Equivalent work experience in the banking or finance sector will also be taken into consideration. AAP certified professional preferred. Additionally, the candidate should have a good understanding of federal and state laws related to bank operations. Proficiency in banking software and general office equipment operation is essential. The candidate should be self-directed, possess strong problem-solving skills, and effectively manage time in a fast-paced environment. Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills are also necessary. The ability to work both independently and collaborate with other employees, customers, vendors, and shareholders is crucial for success in this role. This position can be performed in-office at our Operations Center in White River Junction, VT or our Burlington Loan Office in Burlington, VT.
