Eaton's Electrical Division is seeking a Service Operations Specialist to enhance our team of exceptional customer service experts. This role will be performed remotely from a home office, with the requirement of up to 25% travel to assist our clients in the surrounding areas.

Compensation:
The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $52,499 - $76,999, depending on the candidate's skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business factors.

Key Responsibilities:
Eaton's Critical Power Solutions Division is dedicated to designing, manufacturing, and servicing Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems, batteries, and electronic products to guarantee power reliability in demanding environments. Our specialists provide essential solutions to meet our customers' complex energy management needs.

In this position, you will:
  • Conduct on-site emergency repairs, startup services, and preventative maintenance in an on-call capacity.
  • Work with UPS systems, power distribution units, and batteries.
  • Offer technical support and serve as an advisor for operational or maintenance issues related to system equipment.

Basic Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience in Power Systems, Battery technologies, and/or Electronics (coursework and internships included).
  • A valid and unrestricted State Driver's license.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
  • Must reside within the designated service area.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or a related field from an accredited institution or currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • At least three (3) years of experience with Power Systems, Battery Technologies, and/or Electronics.
  • Ability to interpret schematic drawings and knowledge of troubleshooting, testing, and repair techniques.
  • Electrical Technology Certificate from an accredited institution.

Position Success Criteria:
  • Willingness to undergo and pass customer entrance requirements, including background checks and drug screenings.
  • Ability to collaborate with other Customer Service Engineers and follow directions from the lead Engineer on-site.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting up to 75lbs, standing, climbing, and driving long distances.
  • Strong understanding of single-phase and three-phase circuit theory, as well as analog and digital electronic circuit theory.
  • Proficiency in using tools and understanding safety protocols.
