Job DescriptionJob DescriptionEssential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is responsible for working with the Aureon Board of Directors to establish the strategic vision, mission and values of the organization and its subsidiary companies.
  • In addition, the CEO is responsible for delivering on agreed upon business results related financial targets, growth targets, customer service targets and employee engagement targets.
  • The CEO is also responsible for identifying and managing risks to the organization and protecting the long term sustainability of the organization.
  • The CEO is responsible for selecting and developing the senior leadership team of the organization, providing them with the resources, tools and development needed to be successful and holding them accountable for the achievement of business results.
  • The CEO establishes the culture of the organization and is responsible for ensuring all employees demonstrate the company core values and contribute positively to the culture of the organization.
  • The CEO is responsible for corporate governance and board reporting.
  • The CEO is responsible for evaluating strategic opportunities for growth and increased market share including corporate acquisitions or mergers.The CEO is responsible for deploying tactics that advance the mission and achieve the vision of the organization.
  • The CEO is responsible for creating a place where top talent in our industries and markets want to work.
  • The CEO is responsible for representing the company in the communities and markets we serve.
  • The CEO is responsible for increasing shareholder value.
Education, Training, and ExperienceRequired
  • A minimum of ten years with demonstrated accomplishment leading a division or department in the telecommunications industry.
  • A demonstrated track record of business financial success.
  • A demonstrated record of leadership success and creating a culture where top talent want to work.
  • Bachelor's Degree from accredited university in a related field or equivalent experience
Preferred
  • Merger, acquisition and or divestiture experience
  • A demonstrated track record of helping a business grow
  • A demonstrated track record of managing business risk
  • Experience reporting to or working with a Board of Directors
Required Skills:
  • Detail oriented and organized
  • Utilize work experience and judgment to strategically plan and accomplish goals.
  • Effective interpersonal skills to establish and maintain effective relationships with customers, employees, superiors and business contacts in a professional, timely and courteous manner
  • Strong written and oral communication skills

Tools, Equipment, and Software:
  • Must be able to proficiently operate Windows PC with MS Office and MS Outlook
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
  • Primarily indoor work in an office environment requiring long periods of sitting
  • Frequent utilization of manual dexterity and visualizing of a computer screen
  • Periodic Frequent travel by vehicle or air
  • Frequent evening or weekend work
  • No unusual physical requirements
