Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSalary: $20-22 per hour

Dana-co is looking for a part-time Human Resources Recruiting Assistant. This person will be responsible for various tasks primarily involved in recruiting, including screening and setting up interviews with candidates for open roles. 


This position requires excellent communication skills, computer skills, writing skills, a good understanding of the recruitment process, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.


This position is hybrid, part-time (20 hours per week) and reports to the Manager of Human Resources. 


Responsibilities:


  • Work with the HR team and managers to gather, update, and standardize job descriptions for all employees
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to come up with creative ways of attracting talent
  • Assist with posting job ads
  • Track and report on recruiting activities and outcomes on BambooHR
  • Screen and set up interviews with quality candidates
  • Assist with onboarding new hires
  • Work independently with excellent follow-through
  • Assist with other HR-related tasks and projects as needed.


Location: Midtown Manhattan


Requirements:

  • 1 year of experience in recruiting coordination and scheduling preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Experience and competency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word; strong comfort level with learning how to use an HRIS
  • Highly organized and expert at personal time management
  • High energy and positive attitude
  • Demonstrable project management skills, including with multiple internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience with handling confidential information with discretion
  • A strong work ethic and motivated, flexible nature, team-player with the ability to maintain composure at all times


Highly Desired Qualifications:

 

  • Basic understanding of HR principles and practices
  • An interest in fashion (intimate apparel is a plus) or experience with department stores
  • Degree in Human Resources, business, or related field
