This individual must possess a strong work ethic and communication skills. We are offering a salary ($20-$22 per Hour + Commission), based on experience and a competitive benefit package which includes paid vacation, paid company holidays, 401 (K) with company matching, pension, medical, dental, vision, and life insurance coverage for a full-time employee. This position will report daily to our Westfield office and working hours are 8am-5pm with one hour lunch.

 

What You'll Do:

 

  • Present and sell custom sign products and services to current and potential clients.
  • Continually look for opportunities to cross-sell all of Huston’s products and services to benefit the sales team as a whole.
  • Follow up on new leads and referrals from field activity and company-provided leads.
  • Develop a database of qualified leads through referrals, telephone canvassing, face-to-face cold calling on business owners, and networking.
  • Develop and maintain sales materials and stay up to date on product knowledge.
  • Identify and resolve client problems and concerns.
  • Assist project managers and/or owners on bid jobs as needed.
  • Make sales calls to Huston Signs customers to grow a new and existing customer base. This is obtained through training and becoming a deliberate and effective cold call specialist.
  • Work with and understand Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Exhibit strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Communicate complicated technical issues with effective presentation skills.
  • Be self-motivated and flexible to work with negligible supervision.
  • Meet deadlines on calls and work under pressure.


Who We're Looking For:

 

  • Proven sales experience, preferably in the sign industry or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to develop and maintain a database of qualified leads.
  • Experience with cold calling and networking.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
