JOB DUTIES:

Qualified individuals must have the ability (with or without reasonable accommodation) to perform the following duties:

  • Working with your Regional Sales Manager and your team members, develop and execute sales strategies to consistently exceed sales and profit objectives for the territory.
  • In partnership with the RSM, identify A&D firms in your geographic market and develop strong business relationships throughout the construction process that bring mutual benefit. Contacts will include A&D principals, architects, interior design, GC’s, contractors and end users.
  • Proactively collaborate with other local inside and outside team members to keep project specifications on specification and serviced to the customer’s expectations.
  • Effectively schedule and execute appropriate daily/weekly sales calls with project orientation mindset to provide viable solutions and value to the customer and drive sales revenues.
  • Maintain A&D libraries with AHF Products/Crossville product offerings.
  • Effectively utilize construction market intelligence, such as, Dodge Data and CRM to facilitate market awareness, project tracking and account management.
  • Effectively and actively participate in regularly scheduled project tracking meetings.
  • Maintain high level of awareness and knowledge of market dynamics, customers focus and needs, project awareness, product and competition.
  • Actively participate in appropriate industry organizations (i.e. IIDA, ASID, AIA, NKBA etc.)
  • Maintain Project Registrations, develop and manage commercial pipelines and participate in regular pipeline management meetings.
  • Actively pursue regional and or national accounts.
  • Provide appropriate reports, such as, requested call reports/weekly updates, pipeline sales reports, expense reports, etc. to Sales Management.
  • Participate in weekly/monthly/quarterly territory reviews with Sales Management.
  • Meet and exceed all established sales goals
  • Any other duties that may be assigned or required.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BS/BA degree preferred.

  • Must have an openness to accept new techniques in product knowledge, training and problem solving.
  • Work within the team scope of AHF Products on relationships and completing the tasks on a timely basis.
  • Maintaining positive communication skills at all times.
  • 5-7 years demonstrated experience in specifying commercial projects and delivering sales objectives.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Good interpersonal skills in dealing with customers and clients.
  • Must pass mandatory pre-employment drug test, physical, and criminal background check

ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS

  • Working in extreme weather conditions (hot and cold) occasionally when traveling

  • Expected to stand for long periods of time and expected to lift up to 20 pounds
  • Vision must be sufficient to see tools and equipment clearly. Plant conditions that include all extreme weather conditions (hot and cold), and a noisy and dusty environment.
