Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Installation Specialist to join our team at D&H United Fueling Solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for the effective and efficient completion of installation efforts for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the installation of various tank sizes, both above and underground, at customer sites.
  • Operate heavy-duty construction equipment to meet customer demands regarding installation projects.
  • Perform normal construction tasks, including pouring concrete, pipe fitting, framing, mixing, and finishing.
  • Install and repair petroleum equipment, including USTs, ASTs, gas pumps, fuel monitoring systems, submersible pumps, and product piping.
  • Utilize and maintain various hand tools to complete daily construction tasks.
  • Assist in the completion of differing construction projects, including concrete removal and replacement, manhole and spill containment replacements.
  • Collaborate with customers to respond to open service orders and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Work with other D&H departments to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and contractual agreements.
  • Comply with all safety policies and procedures as outlined in the D&H employee and safety handbooks.
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience in a construction position.
  • Fuel industry experience is preferred.

  • Capability to work well under pressure.
  • Outstanding communication skills in both verbal and written formats.

  • Strong attention to details and high level of accuracy while maintaining short deadlines with data.

  • Analyzing information and evaluating results to create solutions and solve problems.
  • Flexibility to work within a constantly changing work environment.
Education and Physical Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Previous experience with heavy-duty equipment and hand tools is preferred.
  • Frequent use of hands.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds frequently, 50 pounds occasionally.
  • May work in extreme types of weather.
