We are seeking a Quality Control Laboratory Technician to join our growing team This position will be responsible for supporting laboratory and administrative duties related to company products. The QC Laboratory Technician will join a small, dedicated team, allowing focused and ambitious individuals to learn new and important skills and advance as our company expands.
Responsibilities Include:
- Perform basic analytical assays and lab procedures.
- Process results data, QA/QC, and compile project reports.
- Perform assigned assays following SOP and proper documentation practices.
- Maintain proper documentation for all procedures.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure compliance, quality, continuous improvement, timely implementation of document change controls and requests.
- Communicate issues, risks and proposed solutions within the organization.
- Provide communication, collaboration and support to colleagues.
- Manage equipment calibration maintenance and logs.
- Follow all general and laboratory SOPs.
- Perform laboratory maintenance and record keeping according to guidelines and SOPs.
A Successful Candidate:
- Detail-oriented, organized, self-motivated, flexible, diligent with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Possesses knowledge of quality control processes and has strong data management and data processing skills.
- Knowledge of best practice, aseptic lab technique, proper documentation and analysis.
- Able to work in a fast-paced, high energy and team-oriented environment.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team; capable of building strong internal and external working relationships.
- Able to multi-task, prioritize assignments, and meet deadlines.
Essential Knowledge & Skills:
- Extremely Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Outstanding time management skills
- Ability to use or learn to use technical laboratory machinery and record data accurately.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a biotechnology, biologics, or pharmaceutical manufacturing required.
- Some experience working in a laboratory is preferred.
