JOB DESCRIPTION
TITLE: Account Executive
DEPARTMENT: Sales
REPORTS TO: Sales Manager
FLSA: Full Time - approximately 40 hours per week
BASIC FUNCTION: The Account Executive will build business by identifying and selling to prospective clients. Duties will include selling commercial time, creating and selling content and selling production services to businesses and churches throughout the WHMB TV-40 viewing area. This position offers a base salary plus commission. Family Broadcasting Corporation offers a competitive salary and benefit package.
RESPONSIBILITES:
- Build new business.
- Maintain relationships with clients.
- Selling commercial, program, & production services to businesses and churches.
- Additional duties as assigned by the Sales Manager.
- Act as an intermediary between other departments within the organization to ensure the success of their clients.
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Highly motivated, purpose driven as well as goal-driven.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A self-starter with excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Positive attitude
- Ability to work independently as well as thrive in a team environment.
- Strong computer skills (excel and power point)
- Reliable transportation
- Strong work history with proven track record of new business development and goal achievement
- Creative, focused on bottom-line results and making a difference
