Chief Financial Officer for Campus Operations

The Chief Financial Officer for Campus Operations is a vital member of the executive leadership team, providing essential financial guidance and oversight for the Hamilton County Campus.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee budget management and ensure the accuracy of all financial records while adhering to fiscal compliance with institutional policies.
- Exhibit strategic vision and exemplary leadership skills, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Direct financial operations, including fiscal planning, budget creation, accounting, payroll, procurement, and inventory management.
- Maintain effective relationships with faculty, staff, and committees to support program and policy development.
- Participate in executive leadership meetings and represent the Chancellor on various governmental boards.
- Supervise the administration and finance department, ensuring alignment with the Chief Financial Officer's guidelines.
- Plan, prepare, and manage annual operating and capital budgets, including utilities and lease agreements.
- Provide monthly financial analysis and maintain necessary budgetary controls.
- Ensure the integrity of financial data, including accounts receivable and fixed assets.
- Oversee procurement processes in accordance with institutional purchasing policies.
- Manage third-party contracts and grants in collaboration with the Sponsored Program Accounting staff.
- Lead Business Office functions encompassing purchasing, budgeting, accounts receivable, and asset management.
- Present financial information at Board of Trustee meetings.
- Utilize effective communication skills, adapting style to various audiences.
- Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail and produce accurate written materials.
- Facilitate continuous improvement and effective change management.
- Promote an inclusive environment that values diversity and fosters respect among all individuals.
- Manage special projects as assigned by the Chancellor.
- Exhibit strong customer service and advocacy for student success through a positive and approachable demeanor.

Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
- At least 3 years of supervisory experience.
- Master's degree preferred.
- Professional certifications such as CPA or CMA are advantageous.
- Experience in higher education or non-profit sectors is desirable.
