Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our facility and process control systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement process control systems, including PLC and database programming
  • Collaborate with vendors and local users to develop solutions for managing and reporting process data
  • Assist in documenting user requirements for vendor bid packages and generate validation documents
  • Support equipment and facility operation, including troubleshooting automated systems and coding
  • Independently perform controls implementation and capital project execution in accordance with applicable engineering standards
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Eight years or more of relevant work experience in capital project execution, preferably in an FDA-regulated environment
  • Manufacturing experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Experience in project management accountability equal to or greater than $100,000
  • SQL programming experience
Working Conditions

This role requires the ability to work in a plant producing radioactive materials and participate in safety programs designed to minimize potential and/or actual exposure levels. The successful candidate will be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and hearing protection as needed.
