Account Specialist

Metalcraft, a leader in the nameplate/label industry, providing identification solutions for customers worldwide, has a great opportunity for a full-time Account Executive. The Account Executive is responsible for ensuring that our customers achieve their desired outcomes while using our products and services. The Account Executive will work closely with existing and new customers to understand their needs, provide customer support, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and retention.

Roles and Responsibilities

Customer Product Demos and Onboarding:

  • Guide new customers through product demos and assist with the onboarding process, ensuring their account is set up properly and are familiar with all features that will support their needs.

Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, acting as their primary point of contact.

Customer Advocacy:

  • Act as the voice of the customer within the company, providing feedback to internal teams to improve products and services.

Proactive Engagement:

  • Regularly check in with customers to understand their needs, identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling, and address any issues or concerns.

Training and Support:

  • Provide training and support to customers to help them effectively use our products and achieve their goals.

Retention, Renewals, Upsells:

  • Develop and implement strategies to ensure high customer retention rates, successful contract renewals, and product upsells.

Customer Success Plans:

  • Create and execute customized success plans for key accounts, outlining goals, milestones, and success metrics.

Metrics and Reporting:

  • Track and report on key customer success metrics, such as customer satisfaction and retention rates.

Problem Resolution:

  • Address and resolve customer issues in a timely and effective manner, coordinating with internal teams as necessary.

Customer Feedback:

  • Gather and analyze customer feedback to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience required
  • 2-5 years in an inside/outside technical sales or technical support role
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience in new/evolving product/market segments preferred but not required
  • Proficiency with MS Office products, CRM tools, Zoom, and general technology
  • Track record of developing and maintaining customer relationships
  • Excellent analytical, needs analysis, and organization skills
  • Able to function independently and at a high level in the absence of established policies and procedures
  • Creative, detail-oriented problem-solver
