We are hiring for a Lead Commercial AV Estimator to work in Glen Burnie, MD. This role will be leading the estimating team of a prominent national low voltage integrator based in North Virginia and Maryland.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of AV estimators, ensuring accurate and timely project quotes.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and design-build customized commercial AV solutions.
  • Work closely with the Sales Department to translate requirements into comprehensive estimates.
  • Conduct site visits to gather project data and identify potential challenges.
  • Prepare detailed scopes of work and budgets for each project.
  • Utilize AV estimating software to generate accurate quotes.
  • Review and approve bid packages and drawings before client submission.
  • Manage current client relationships and build new customer satisfaction.
  • Provide ongoing support to existing and potential clients.
  • Track and manage multiple estimates, ensuring all trades are accounted for.
  • Facilitate kick-off meetings with Operations to ensure seamless project execution.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in commercial AV estimating.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and motivating a team.
  • Strong understanding of AV equipment, technologies, and systems.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, estimating software, Bluebeam, and project management tools.
  • Highly organized with a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced and results-oriented environment.
