We are currently seeking an Audio-Visual Installation Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role involves supporting a prominent IT integrator focused on federal and commercial projects.

Job Responsibilities
The Audio-Visual Installation Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Executing comprehensive audio-visual installation projects across various settings, including corporate offices, educational institutions, and government facilities.
  • Performing essential installation tasks such as cable pulling, connector installation, fiber handling, and metal fabrication.
  • Reading and interpreting electronic schematics and blueprints to ensure accurate installations.
  • Installing projector and screen support structures, as well as field installations of control systems (e.g., Crestron, AMX).
  • Maintaining professionalism in client-facing interactions.

Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:

  • 1-2+ years of experience in AV system installation.
  • Familiarity with control systems such as Crestron, AMX, and Polycom VTC.
  • Knowledge of audio DSPs, including QSC, Biamp, and Clearone.
  • The ability to read and understand cable pull schedules, floor plans, and ceiling plans.
  • Strong customer service skills and an OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Skills
Additional qualifications that would be beneficial include:

  • Manufacturer training in systems such as Extron, Crestron, Biamp, Polycom, or Cisco.
