Our client is looking to fill the role of Estimator. This position will be in PA on a hybrid schedule.


Responsibilities:


  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial roofing projects.
  • Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
  • Utilize estimating software to prepare accurate and competitive bids.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure all aspects of the project are considered.
  • Review and assess project requirements and ensure all aspects of the job are accounted for.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of materials, labor costs, and other relevant factors.
  • Prepare and present bid proposals to clients.
  • Assist in the negotiation of contracts and change orders.
  • Conduct post-project analysis to improve future estimating accuracy.


Required Qualifications:


  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the construction industry, preferably with a focus on commercial roofing.
  • Proficiency in estimating software.
  • Strong mathematical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
